On 8 January, 1996 I have been nominated Representative for Malta for the Mutual UFO Network headquartered in Seguin, Texas, USA and boasting more than 5,000 members worldwide!

Since November 1995, personalised licence plates have been available so it was obvious that I would get a personalised plate for my car! UFO-001 seemed too obvious so after hours and hours of profound thought (not really ;-) ) I came up with CYD-410. CYD stands for Cydonia, while 410 stands for Cydonia's approximate latitude at 41° North. How's that for a licence plate! Here it is :


While I am a Star Trek fan, that is not the only TV I see! I am a great fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bud Spencer & Terence Hill, and Paolo Villaggio (Fantozzi). There isn't much I have been able to find on the Web for the last three actors. Since they are Italian, I suppose that could be the reason, but hey, Italy is connected to the Web also, so get a move on Italian page-makers and get some info out. I'll do what I can at my end but I don't have infinite space available. Anyway, watch this space for pictures and more info as soon as I get my hands on it!


OIMI - Oggett Itir Mhux Identifikat : That's UFO in Maltese but it does lose something in the translation. I don't think I'll hear anyone going around saying they've just seen an "OIMI".



I found this great animated .gif on Inge Arnulf Hassel's page and I found it so cool that I couldn't resist placing it here also!! If you do not have Netscape 2.0 or above you will only see the first frame of the animation (or worse...) Get Netscape Now.
